Join all of your troop friends for a day and evening at the beach. Some will drive, some will ride bikes, all will have fun!
Those who are interested will start at The Pond in Anaheim and ride the Santa Ana River Trail to Huntington Beach.
We will gather at Huntington Beach for play, a burger and dog BBQ, and s'mores. Bring the whole family.
Register for the BBQ online.
We need committment from some parents to go early and claim a fire pit and some to make the food happen.

Service project to help setup and tear down for the FestivArts at Padua Hills (JKM).
This event is put on by the Claremont Lewis Museum of Art.
We help setup tables and chairs, art displays, umbrellas, etc in the morning before
the event starts and then help put it all away in the afternoon when it is over.
We will be working with scouts from other Claremont troops to get the work done.

Desert camping at Sawtooth Canyon campground. (Mark)
This is a BLM campground in a lovely boulder strewn valley. A favorite of rock climbers.
There are 13 sites with Riatas, tables, grills, and fire pits. Two pit toilets and everything is new. No water or trash.
This is a great car-camping trip featuring patrol cooking, rock scrambling, orienteering, and plenty of time for advancement.
