Scout Sunday (JKM).
All scouts are expected to attend to show support and thanks to our sponsoring church. We will attend the 10am service as a group in full, neat, dress Class A uniform. We will all act as ushers and greeters before the service and some of us will participate as acolytes, as readers, and leading the Children's Celebration. We are hosting the "coffee" after the service so plan to stay until about 11:30. |

Evening Hike. (JKM) We will take the Evey Canyon trail from Mt Baldy Road to the top of Potato Mountain, watch the sunset and the lights of the valley come on, and then hike back down in the near full moon. It is about 5 miles round trip. Bring water, snacks, and your Ten Essentials. We need enough parents to drive the group to the trailhead. |

All Church Picnic
and Block Party As our contribution to the CUCC All Church Picnic, the troop is setting up a model campsite and helping revelers prepare themselves s'mores over a campfire. The campsite will be in the dirt along the north wall of the sanctuary and must be set up and ready for business by 11:00am. It will be cleaned up at 2:00pm. You are, of course, invited to have it ready by 10am and then attend the service from 10-11. Please wear your troop t-shirt to this event. We need a troop tent or two setup as background scenery, a camp table, several camp chairs, an off-the-ground firepit, marshmallow sticks, and s'more ingredients. The community is invited to this event, so bring your family and friends to join in the fun! |
